February already? Well we’ve been pretty busy. We tackled our juggling unit for the K-2nd grades. We really work a lot on 2 scarf patterns (using scarves instead of bean bags). A few of the 2nd graders were able to get some true 3 scarf patterns going. It was a lot of fun to see!
We also got to squeeze in a couple weeks of jump rope. We have quite a few great jumpers and we still have a few that are so very close.
For the 3-5th grades- We are wrapping up our basketball unit. We got to go through many of the basic skills and even got a chance to put our skills into action in some modified games. I’ve been very impressed with the way these 3rd-5th graders have been working together. It’s really great to see!!
On a different note, please read below:
The Fire Marshall has begun writing Fire Lane parking violations on school parking. A number of people have already received citations. The Fire Marshall will continue writing these citations throughout the county this school year. Please remind parents/staff that if they park in a fire lane (a curb that is painted red) they risk being ticketed.
